Day 23 - [Video] | [Action] at Azalea

Anyway, this is Atsuro in front of the Azalea Gym. Holding the Hive Badge in his hand, with his large Arcanine sitting next to him.]

Then again, that’s what I get for solo-ing Bugsy with Pascal.

[Pascal give his trainer a look. C’mon, Atsuro, he want a good challenge.]

So that means I got all eight badges in Johto! Here’s hoping Kanto will give me a better challenge. I think most of my team are getting edgy from the lack of good challenges.

...Huh, I got all eight badges in less than a year. With all that time passing, I guess it’s pretty normal here.

[Oh yeah, he’s been here for almost a year... Atsuro would hit his first anniversary in a few weeks.]

So, everyone! What’s the Kanto gym leaders are like? I know about Sabrina, but what about the others?

Sure thing. It's been a while since I record a battle for everyone to see, anyway. [He might have to adjust his team a little, because of his usual filming duo.]

I skipped Azalea because my old travelling group hitched a ride to Olivine. [Waaaay back to help with the dam.] Then my travel plans ended up being improvised on.

Poochy's going to evolve into one of those, right? [If so, that would be awesome. His face says as much. He shuts the pokedex after it id's Fearow.] Thanks. What are Forton and Asterisk? Are they cameraman and camera pokemon?

I've challenged Vermillion's. That one was admittedly trickier, as I had no fully-leveled Ground-type.

I got a few Ground-types, but they're not strong enough at the moment. Agena will hit level 100, but it'll take a while.

Poochy as in Poochyena? Then yep! He'd evolve into a Mightyena like Ada here. [Ada just stand there and look proud of herself. Aw yeah.]

Asterisk is my Clefairy and Fortron's a Porygon. I don't use them in battles that often, so they're my camera crew for filming.

I don't know from experience, but I do believe that Miss Erika in the next city over specializes in Grass-type Pokemon. Besides that, I'm afraid my knowledge falls flat.

[ Layton has never played a video game, much less seen one in his time, so he has no idea. He does know a few people that have played them before, so it's not surprising that this young lad has as well. ]
