They can! Maybe they can hit it off and become friends.

I am. But with no Elite Four challenge in sight, I've been looking at taking on the gym leaders' elite teams. I might go around Johto again and ask the leaders for a rematch.

[Maybe with more varied strategies than "spam Earthquake".]

If the Elite Four challenge ever opens up, I'll definitely make my way over there.

Then they could have playdates and that sort of thing, right?

...How annoying. The Elite Four and the Champion...challenging them is definitely part of the plot.

Right. I have no problems with it, as long they get along.

I agree. I wonder what's keeping them? Some people's been here for a couple of years (4-5 is the most I've heard) and the challenge's been closed for so long. I'd understand it if it's an annual challenge, or at set intervals like every half a year.

No news at all for this long? Something's definitely up.

Four or five years...without the elite people...? I hope nothing bad has happened to them. If it's like that, maybe team rocket...

I hope so. But the Elite Four's the best of the best. Team Rocket must've use a plan to overwhelm them or restrict them somehow.

Yeah. Even if they keep their mouths shut, they probably have an explanation ready to keep the locals here from questioning it too much.
