[One day, something shows up on the screen. It looks like a pixel sprite of something.

In the background, there seems to be falling poffins of many different colours. After a while, text begin to show up and a small Porygon is bouncing around at the corner of the screen.]

[It seems like someone wants people to make more Poffins. And that someone is Fortran, Atsuro’s Porygon, who’s hijacking its trainer’s PokeGear. It has been a while since it did it.]

How many will you make?

[It can totally make better stuff than whatever Atsuro’s making for that programming business.

Such as a few tiny lines of code that make an arm go from barely responsive to flexible as a gymnast's. The rest of us had been trying to fix that particular issue for weeks. Secured the guy an easy acceptance into the club back in school, too.

[Alse secured him an easy way to spy on Asemu, but he's long stopped caring about that particular detail.]

That's a common problem with programming. After staring at the same codes for days/weeks/months/however long, your eyes end up glazing over it.

Do you remember what those lines of code are?

I don't, sorry. That was over twenty years ago, and on a school-grade amateur suit to boot. I can't recall all the details.

My Octillery finally agreed to drown it. I can only hope it'll stay drowned.

Maybe I should out him on Poffin duty instead. Those extra limbs might help a lot.

On the bright side, a lot of Poffins will be baked and everyone can eat them together.

Oh, I'm sure EXA will find a way to get in there and eat all of Grabby's hard work without leaving any for the rest of us.

Have someone to watch EXA? Or tell them to behave and maybe they can get something nice.

I could always try taping it to AGE-FX. It works when I have to keep Hellspawn out of her ball but harmless.

My Metagross. Excellent when I need to keep the Normal-types calm and out of the way.

Ooooh, a Metagross. I want one as well, but Euler usually covers my steel typed needs pretty well.

But does he look like a quadrupedal robot? That's just as important as the type covered.

Nope. He looks like someone out of a fighting anime. Probably the main character if he keeps up with wearing his scarf and goggles.

Keep an eye on him. He might turn out to be the kind of hero that runs off by himself at the end of the series to go through new adventures with other people.

I dunno how to feel about that. On one hand, it's his choice. On the other hand, I'm also responsible for him as well.

I guess it depends on whether or not I get to pay the damage bills if he did go off on an adventure.

Now that depends on whether or not the owners of the damaged property can link him to you. Don't let him hand out your phone number.
