Day 44 - [Text]
[After the prom, Atsuro used the Ace Trainer’s services to return to Goldenrod to pick a few things up from the department stores. Other than equipments and references he needs for programming, he also pick up a Dubious Disc to study. He’s been planning on taking a look into its contents, but he haven’t save up enough until now.
Not when he’s also saving up money for a possible investment into a house for himself and his Pokemon.
It’s after he take a good look into the Dubious Disc and dig in as much as he can, that he typed up a post to the network.]
Did anyone else look at what’s inside the Dubious Disc? The data inside is what cause Porygon2 to evolve into a Porygon-Z via trading. Which isn’t all that strange, since the Porygon line are made of data.
So I looked inside and I found some weird stuff. I’m wondering if anyone else can confirm it as well, or I lucked out in getting a weird copy to study.
Because I don’t know what to think about finding this inside. Or what looks like a bunch of familiar looking memes, just Pokemon (which is somehow both surprising but not really). So I’d appreciate your input on this.
Also, does anyone want a Dubious Disc? I can’t use it since Fortran’s fully evolved.
[Thanks for that, mysterious kidnapper.]
...And if you're also raising a Porygon-Z, mind if I ask you about the evolution process and results? Thanks.

[He doesn't know what to think of this picture potentially any Porygon2s during their evolution.]

It's like a popular trend. You get a concept and it spreads out to a lot of people, so it's normally at "heard about" level.
text;
What are Dubious Discs supposed to do, anyway?
[Hi my name is Tenten and I've never bothered to learn about Porygons.]
text;
text;
How come it doesn't turn into a Skitty, then?
text;
Or it's just extra data that doesn't do anything. I need to study the Porygon line if I want to be extra sure.
text;
By the way, what type is a Porygon?
text;
They're a normal-type. If you want to use them, they're not that bad. I prefer having them as support for programming projects.
text;
Maybe eventually!
text;
Porygons are pretty fun, even if you're not into programming!
text;
[Because that would definitely make twice the storage space. Definitely.]
text;
[Nerd and son of engineers, he know his stuff!]
text;
[Oh honey no.]
text;
In increase a computer's memory, you usually need to install a RAM or a hard drive.
text;
Which means more people would be able to pull more Pokémon from them?
[She's really trying.]
text;
I'm not surprised by the limit on how many Pokemon we can store. We're not the only ones using the system, the natives are also using it as well. So there's a high volume of enquiries and data every single day on average.
text;
Maybe we can just install a second system altogether? Like, okay, hear me out. Back home, I could seal dozens of weapons into a single scroll. But then I could just carry two scrolls, which means twice the weapons. Why can't a second, identical system be set up like the one we have now?
text;
I'm guessing why we don't have sooner or more often is due to the cost. Upgrading or installing a second system usually cost money for the materials and knowledge to put them together safely.
text;
Maybe, we could all chip in! I mean, I'd pay a lot to get a second system put in. And sometimes I feel like I have more money than I know what to do with!
Maybe you could do it!
text;
[It's not like they're going to search for a way back home! So they have a better chance here, theoretically.]
text;
[Tenten what is even that emote. Please.]
text;
Right! But how do we start? Ask around to our friends and go from there?
text;
Hmm... I can ask, maybe! I don't know what to ask for, though. Do you know anyone else who's good at computers like you are?
