[After the prom, Atsuro used the Ace Trainer’s services to return to Goldenrod to pick a few things up from the department stores. Other than equipments and references he needs for programming, he also pick up a Dubious Disc to study. He’s been planning on taking a look into its contents, but he haven’t save up enough until now.

Not when he’s also saving up money for a possible investment into a house for himself and his Pokemon.

It’s after he take a good look into the Dubious Disc and dig in as much as he can, that he typed up a post to the network.]

Did anyone else look at what’s inside the Dubious Disc? The data inside is what cause Porygon2 to evolve into a Porygon-Z via trading. Which isn’t all that strange, since the Porygon line are made of data.

So I looked inside and I found some weird stuff. I’m wondering if anyone else can confirm it as well, or I lucked out in getting a weird copy to study.

Because I don’t know what to think about finding this inside. Or what looks like a bunch of familiar looking memes, just Pokemon (which is somehow both surprising but not really). So I’d appreciate your input on this.

Also, does anyone want a Dubious Disc? I can’t use it since Fortran’s fully evolved.

Thank you. I won't have any use for it for some time, since my Porygon hasn't evolved to Porygon2 yet...if I do decide to use it. I'm interested in what else that disk has on it, though. If there's anything else on it other than what you found, I should be able to decipher it.

Sure. The ones I can analyse are mostly memes I can recognise. There are others I don't know. [Since they're from a year or more ahead of his year.] There's more I haven't crack through yet. It's almost weird how the disk put the data together.

If you ever evolve your Porygon, mind letting me know how it goes? I didn't get a chance to observe Fortran's as I like.

I see. I'll look more into it if I can...but from what you're describing, it sounds like that data has a lot to do with why Porygon2 evolves to PorygonZ the way it does.

I will. I will have to ensure that Zip is ok with it, first...he seems to be pretty happy how he is at the moment.

Since it's the trade evolution item for Porygon2 to evolve into Porygon-Z, it'd be weird if it isn't.

That's usually the best way to approach it. I have a few Pokemon who's happy enough without evolving.

It could be. But was the data tampered with recently or it's always there?

At least from what I've seen, Fortran seems to be doing alright since his evolution. Beside wanting Poffins a little more than before.

That's a good question. I'm not sure if it's something I'll be able to figure out, but I can try.

That's good, at least. I've been a bit concerned...but Nanami-san's Porygon-Z, Galaga, seems to act just fine as well.

Galaga seems perfectly normal, to me. She just seems to like to play video games a lot.

That'd be great as well! The more info I get, the easier it'd be to compare and find anything out of the ordinary.

With a name like Galaga, I'm somehow not that surprised! I'm guessing she loves the video games that can be downloaded onto the PokeGear.

I think so, yes. She plays games with Nanami-san a lot, I think. As her second player, and all.

Zip doesn't play games much, but I don't think he has tried to yet either...I play with Nanami-san sometimes, but she always wins.

She is a Super High School Level Gamer, if I remember it correctly. Winning that often is probably normal for Chiaki.

Of course. I would be more concerned if she did manage to beat me.
