[Okay, no more distractions like playing that new game or taking care of his new Pokemon. He can finally sit down and type this up when he's not braindead.]

Quick question for the network.

Did anyone get any headaches during those earthquakes a while back? I want to know if it's just a few of us, or if there's an ominous connection and it's like foreshadowing something big?

[He didn't know about the Nightmare Castle connection, yet.]

...That was those crystal towers, right?

Right! I remember Cel (my Reuniclus) being all weirded out by it.

Do you think they'll come back? No one ever figured out what was wrong with those, did they?

[babel_hacker]

I don't think so. If they do come back, I'm guessing they'll be bigger than before.

That wouldn't be good... It seemed like it took a lot of work to destroy them as it was.

Yeah. I remember it takes a lot to take them down. I kinda remember someone using explosives against them?

[Give him a minute, he's having flashbacks to a certain someone he knows doing her best to cause destruction. Oh good lord.]

That... seems about right.

I wonder if there was an alternative way to get rid of them that no one thought of and that might have been better?

If there is, would it be less destructive to its surroundings? I don't mind helping out, but it might be a lot of work if it pops up in a big city and we accidentally wreck the buildings.

I have no idea, I'm just trying to think outside the box. I mean, no one really knew what they were. For all we know, being so rough on those might have had the opposite effect of what we wanted and that's why our Pokemon are getting headaches.

Ah... I'm just throwing out theories, of course.

No, keep throwing them! It helps to have other people's perspectives, since I couldn't think of every possible angles.

Wait, if being rough on them was a bad idea, if we treated them nicely...would things be better? Like respecting something and you get good karma for it? Like maybe they're symbolic pillars or shrines and we pissed off a legendary for wrecking them?

Well, it is a possibility, isn't it? I'm afraid I don't know too much about Legendaries, but if they're really as powerful as everyone says... Making crystals like those wouldn't be hard, would they?

[babel_hacker]

Yeah, it shouldn't be too hard for them. They're powerful enough to be practically like gods here. It might be an unknown Legendary, too, since I don't know which ones are connected to crystals.

There is a lot we don't know...

Still, I'll see if I can't do some research. I wrote down some notes from the library from the Falls when there was the Prom- there might be something in there I'm not remembering right now. There was quite a lot of information after all!

I suppose it won't hurt to check out the local library either.
