[His Lanturn, already out of his Pokeball, goes onto the battle field to meet with Pryce's Dewgong. He doesn't seem to be startled by the start of an unfamiliar music playing, as the battle begin.

Instead of attacking immediately, he orders Antec to set up the supportive Aqua Ring. Which is a good thing, when Dewgong attacks and the regenerative water heals up the damage a little. A Discharge from Antec and the Dewgong is down.

Next is Lapras, who get taken down by the same attack. It's only when Pryce send out his last Pokemon, Mamoswine, that Atsuro switch things up. Somewhat.]

Surf it up, Antec!

[And suddenly, A SHIT LOAD OF WATER COMES OUT OF NOWHERE FROM BEHIND THE LANTURN, WHO PROCEED TO RIDE IT AND SLAM RIGHT INTO THE MAMOSWINE.

Where the hell did all that water comes from the gym is full of frozen solid ice I don't even--]

Take that! [By now, the battle's over. As his starter, Antec got the most training and naturally, is the strongest on his team. Of course, it probably helps that he's vastly overleveled for this gym. Atsuro grin, both from the victory and in pride for his dear Pokemon partner. Pryce recalls his fallen Mamoswine, a small smile on his elderly face.]

Ah, I am impressed by your prowess. With your strong will, I know you will overcome all life's obstacles. You are worthy of this Badge!

Thanks, Pryce. [Even knowing that the gym leader must've said this exact same line to many other trainers before, making its impact lesser than it should, Atsuro still feels good and...encouraged by those words. His grin turning into a smile, both him and his Lanturn went over to accept the Glacier Badge before the video feed turns off.]

[When it turns back on, Atsuro's outside of the gym. He flash the badge in front of the camera with a grin.]

Yo! I finally got my sixth badge! Which means I have two more to go until I got them all. [This would probably be odd, if he do the gym challenge in the normal order. But he's sequence breaking it, instead.] I'll just be staying in Mahogany for a while before finalising my travel plans.

But other than that? What do you guys think of my battle theme? [His grin grows wider.] Not bad, huh?

I've not seen them there, but I was not quite looking for them either.

True. I've heard the Breeding Center has a rather wide variety available.

They do from the last time I checked. [Even if he didn't order any eggs at the time.]

Then again, catching your own is rather gratifying.

It is! Even more if you track them down yourself and finally captured them.

I must say I've not known that particular feeling. Shuppets were rather commonplace when I caught mine, and there is no lack of Caterpies on route 30.

I tracked down a Spearow and a girl Nidoran in the Safari Zone, but their rules made capturing Pokemon there feel different.

They have different rules? What sort of rules?

In the Safari Zone, you can't use your Pokemon. So you have to use what you can find there and your wits to capture any of the Pokemon before they run away.

...Catching Slowpokes or Psyducks must be simple enough, but the rest...

There's always the faster Pokemon in there.

Perhaps I'll see it for myself, someday. It does seem to be interesting.
