[So there’s a frantic Porygon-Z capslocking on the network, because, well, Fortran was around when Atsuro fell asleep last time during the Shedinja incident. Asterisk was there at the time, back when she was a young Cleffa. So...bad memories all around.

It takes a few single-use passwords that can only be obtained with proper references from certain trustworthy individuals that are not present in this world.

And does it have an locking and/or alarm system for receiving the wrong password inputs X number of times?

Even worse. The locking system activates at random, after any number of incorrect inputs, and even possibly without any input at all.

Having more than one person with administrator privileges, sharing data without even asking for a password or a trusted reference... Some people don't protect their own information at all.

Sounds normal.
People should protect their data properly.

Forget messes, what if someone sells it to third parties with malicious intentions? That's just asking for spam and invasive surveillance.
