Something I just learned very recently.

Ditto smell and taste like old gum, with a bit of wild nature from the grass. I wouldn't recommend trying to taste your own Dittos, however.

[There's a story behind this, of course.]

Just be careful while on the road.

More or less, yeah. We think that's because we camped out in its area.

Do you have a tent? Or are you a sleeping under the stars kind of person?

Under the stars kind of person but I do have a tent. Plus, the weather's been pretty good with no hint of rain.

[Maybe the Ditto really likes doing that?]

Have any nocturnal pokemon? To guard in case my Ditto is the anomaly and most wild ones like sleeping on faces for some reason. I mean, waking up like that can't have been fun.

I don't have any on me, though I could order one of mine to stand guard.

But yeah, it's no fun at all. Like the brief moment when I couldn't breath, ugh.

Yeah, not being able to breathe is one of the worst things.

You doing okay now at least?

Yeah, I'm doing okay now. I had worst things than not being able to breathe before.

Though that does rank up pretty close.

The fact that you have had worse things isn't exactly good. But then, I can't really talk, so at least you're okay.

Even without counting stuff back home, this world can bring in scary stuff sometimes.

Don't I know it, about things around here. How long have you been around?

It'll be four years for me this April. So pretty long.

Not that much less than me, then. I'm coming up on four and a half.

So you've probably seen most of it, sounds like.

Pretty much, yeah. Well, there's that time where I kinda disappear for over a month? But otherwise I've been around and saw most of the stuff you would've seen.

Hopefully the more bothersome stuff is stuff you've gotten to see but not be affected by, at least...

I mean, the stuff that's more bothersome than Dittos.

Yeah, I get what you mean. Compared to most of the stuff we saw, Ditto problems (like mass breeding) feels almost minor in comparison.

Yeah. At least you can find home for eggs, even when there are way too many.

Which is a good thing. There's so many trainers out there who might want them. It's also good for newer people, so they can build their team faster.

Yeah. And with more variety. I mean, it's been a while since I've been over by New Bark Town, but I'm pretty sure all you really ran into over there were birds and ferrets.

Birds, ferrets and rats, and some bugs, if I remember right. Some of them can be good fighters, but there's more Pokemon out there that can play their type niches better.
